The Carolina Real Estate Brokers, Inc. dba “The Sandhills Team” is pleased to announce that broker Lew Ferguson has joined Pete and Joanne Mace’s recently reconstructed firm. Formerly known as the Carolina Real State Store, “The Sandhills Team” recently opened their new office on 710 S. Bennett St. in Southern Pines. The Sandhills Team specializes in all aspects of residential real estate sales in Moore County.

Lew joins the Sandhills Team after 20 years with ClubCorp at the Pinehurst Resort. “I’m exceptionally excited about joining The Sandhills Team”, Lew states. “Each individual on the team possesses a unique skill set, and I’m impressed with the way we mesh. We truly are a team here, and it shows”. Lew’s primary focus with The Sandhills Team is buyer representation. “I pledge to represent my clients honestly, professionally and expediently. I fully understand that trust is earned”.

Lew is a 25 year resident of Moore County and a native North Carolinian. Lew is a graduate of Brevard College and the University of North Carolina- Chapel Hill. Additionally, Lew is a 20 year, P.G.A. Class A golf professional having served in a variety of capacities at the C.C. of N.C., Foxfire Resort & C.C., Pinehurst Resort, and the Mid South Club. “I feel that my experience in the golf industry is an asset to servicing my real estate clients. In many cases I’m working with the same demographic of customer, just in a different setting. Service in both cases is still the key”.
